摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a detection overlook probability by coding a decoded signal with the same error correction code as that of a transmitter side to obtain a 2nd redundant signal and comparing the signal with a signal of applying error correction to a redundant signal so as to decide the presence of an error. SOLUTION: An error correction decoding circuit 10 provides an output of an error correction signal denoting an error bit location to correct an error up to a bit number within a correction enable range, and an error correction circuit 12 corrects an error, based on the signal. On the other hand, a recoding circuit 14 receiving a decoding signal after correction conducts re-coding and provides an output of an error detection signal when an error in the decoded signal is detected. An integration circuit 16 integrates an error detection signal, based thereon to obtain an error monitor signal displaying quality of a transmission line. A signal processing circuit 18 receiving the signal conducts signal re-transmission processing and switching of diversity or the like. Thus, the presence of an error is detected without adding a signal exclusive for error detection.
