PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To input a trigger signal of diagnostic operation from an external terminal to efficiently perform the diagnosis by providing a communication control part, which can receive a general-purpose trigger signal and can start the state diagnostic operation based on this trigger signal, on the television camera side with respect to a device which makes each mobile part of a television camera perform prescribed diagnostic operation. SOLUTION: A mobile part operation state diagnosis part 22 in a universal head main body 14b sends a motor driving signal which makes a mobile part 16 of a television camera 10 perform the prescribed diagnostic operation, and the operation state of the mobile part 16 is diagnosed based on comparison between operation data outputted from a mobile part operation detection part 18 and reference data of the diagnostic operation. A communication control part 24 in the universal head main body 14b receives a signal, which indicates execution of the diagnostic operation, from the external terminal and sends it to the mobile part operation state diagnosis part 22 and receives diagnosis result data of the operation state of the mobile part 16 from the mobile part operation state diagnosis part 22 and sends this data to the external terminal. |
