PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically cancel a transaction having encountered a fault if the fault occurs during the transmission and reception of data. SOLUTION: When data are transmitted from a terminal device 11 to a host processor 15, a canceling and saving mechanism 14 which manages data sent for each transaction updates a message serial number and a transmission/ reception state. Further, the host processor 15 having receives the data from the terminal device 11 updates the message serial number and a ledger address in a terminal management file 19 for managing data received by terminals. Consequently, if a fault occurs during the transmission and reception of data, the message serial number of a transaction having encountering the fault is sent automatically from the terminal 11 to the host processor 15 and when the ledger 18 is already updated, a canceling processing is automatically performed from the ledger update address. |
