PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of unevenness on a formed image by peeling off toner stuck on a blade after completion of developing. SOLUTION: When this developing device 18 is allowed to develop an electrostatic latent image by feeding the toner 26 having a negative polarity on a photoreceptor drum 12, a blade 34 becomes in a state of electrically floating. As a result, the toner layer provided with uniform thickness is formed on a developing roller 30, while a specific electric charge is impressed on the toner layer. On completion of developing the electrostatic latent image, a specific potential difference is produced between the developing roller 30 and the blade 34, thus the toner 26 stuck on the blade 34 is peeled off. |
