<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent problems such as wrong input, wrong output, and a decrease in depression sensitivity or contacting sensitivity from being caused by a shield film which is held at the ground potential between a liquid crystal panel and a plane input device. SOLUTION: A digitizer 1 has conductive resistance films 13 and 14 formed on the opposite surface sides of a couple of thin light-transmissive substrates 11 and 12 which are at least flexible, and the films are fixed opposite each other across a thin gap secured by spacers 15. On the opposite-surface side of the substrate 11, i.e., the reverse surface of the digitizer 1, the shield film 16 is formed of a transparent conductive film and grounded. Thus, the shield film 16 which is held at the ground potential is interposed between the digitizer 1 and LCD panel 9 and then cuts off an electric field produced with the driving voltage of the LCD panel 9. Consequently, the problems of wrong input of position information, wrong output of position redisplay, etc., due to the disordering of the signal voltage at a detection position on the digitizer 1 by the electric field of the LCD panel 9 is prevented.</p> |
