PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound field controller having a much sound field effect regardless of a simple circuit configuration by using two reflected sound generating means to generate separate reflected sound signals from an S signal and adding signals so as to set a level ratio of the generated signals to the S signal to be a specific ratio or over and reproducing the resulting signal. SOLUTION: An S signal outputted from a surround decoder 14 is given to an input difference signal adder circuit 56, in which an Lt-Rt is added to the S signal, a C signal adder circuit 64 adds a reflected sound signal of the C signal to the sum to generate a signal So. Reflected sound generating circuits 24, 26 generate separate reflected sounds r1, r2 of the signal So. A coefficient (c) is given to the reflected sound r1 at a coefficient device 28 and the result is added to the signal So at an adder 30. In this case, a level ratio c.r1/S of the reflected sound signal c.r1 to the S signal is set to be 0.5 or over for the addition. Phase change processing is applied to the reflected sound r2 by a phase shift circuit 34, and an adder 36 adds the result to the original signal So. Outputs of the adders 30, 38 are reproduced by left right speakers 32, 54 behind the listener 42. |
