A method for removing nitrogen compounds, particularly nitrates, from weakly mineralized water and for remineralizing said water is characterized in that the untreated water is biologically treated in a single reactor to simultaneously remove the nitrogen coumpounds therefrom and remineralize it at least partially, whereafter the denitrified and remineralized water is subjected to coagulation, flocculation and clarification treatments. |
