A gene encoding foreign proteins is integrated into hematopoietic somatic cells originating in a vertebrate and then the recombinant hematopoietic stem cells thus obtained are introduced into the vertebrate that has been made immunodeficient to thereby efficiently give a vertebrate which is immunologically tolerant against the foreign proteins and usable in the production of the foreign protein, etc.
