摘要 In this novel method for rapid determination of dioxin content in a gas stream, the concentration of an existing indicative substance in the flow is measured. A correlation is computed between this concentration and that of the dioxin. Pref. the concentration of the indicative substance in the gas stream is greater than that of the dioxin. Hexachlorobenzene is selected, and its measurement is carried out quasi-continuously, in an automatic manner. A sample stream is separated from the gas flow, separating out solids, e.g. dust and aerosols. A radial fan is used, scrubbing the solids from the sample flow. Also claimed is appts. to carry out the procedure as described.
