A steering wheel for automobile having inductive signal- and power-transmission between a coil arrangement (26) on the steering column (20), and a coil arrangement (27) which is rotatably arranged on the steering wheel and rotates with the steering wheel. Both coil arrangements (26,27) are integrated into circuit boards (22,24) which are positioned axially displaced opposite one another, and one of the coil arrangements consists of at least one coil (26) in the form of a loop encircling the steering shaft (21a), and the other coil, of at least one coil (27), with both coils (26,27) arranged so that one coil in each steering wheel position overlaps a part of the effective surface (3) of the other coil (26) with the power transmitted on the steering-wheel side used to charge the supply capacitor.
