Video communication system generating frame sequence

The system generates a sequence of frames of the mobile image. Then the latter is divided spatially into a set of sub-sequences, each contg. a series of frame segments as sections of the frames. Each frame segment is digitally coded. Each digital code is independent of the sub-sequence contents of frame segments not digitally coded. Then a signal, representing the digital code, is transmitted. Pref. the digital code, received by a receiver (100) is tested for faults in the digital code.
