<p>The invention relates to a method of locking theft attractive property to fixed, preferably immovable objects (3), such as buildings, posts, etc., with the aid of an anchoring member (2) and a user-carried separate lock (6), whereby the anchoring member (2) with a first end (2a) thereof is connected fixedly to said fixed object and, on a locking occasion, with a second end (2b) thereof and with the aid of the carried lock is locked either directly to a part of said property or to said fixed object subsequent to having passed an intermediate part (2c) of the anchoring member around a part of said property.
