Seal for moving windscreen, especially open top passenger vehicle

The seal acts against a moving windscreen (4) on a vehicle, and is arranged on at least one longitudinal section of a mounting rail (6). It lies against the edge of the windscreen in the region of the closed position of the latter. The seal has sections (7,8) which are bonded firmly to the rail. The latter may have a roughly U-shaped cross section, and a section of the seal may project towards the windscreen from each of its outer (6') and inner (6'') limbs, so as to lie against it in order to provide sealing.
