<p>In a laminate battery cell, a sheet-like current collector is provided with electrode material in electrical contact with two sides of the current collector. Solid electrolyte material contacts the electrode material and separates the electrode material from an electrode material with a different electromotive potential. An extended portion of the current collector is provided to facilitate forming electrical connections with the current collector and the electrode material and to facilitate cooling of the battery cell.</p> |
