The platter is for food and condiments and may be used at a party. It has an approximately oval flat surface (2), suitable for a variety of solid foodstuffs including sausages, potato crisps, canapes etc. There are a number of depressions or wells in the surface of the platter. There is a large round depression (1) which may accommodate a glass or a cup. A smaller, oval depression (3) next to this may be used as a reservoir for mustard. A further, rectangular depression (4) next to this may house some kind of party novelty. There is a loop on the underside near one end to accommodate the user's thumb.
