Fibre reinforced rigid polystyrene foam

Fibre reinforced polystyrene rigid foam (styropor) has synthetic fibres (esp. hydrophilised PAN or PVA fibres) incorporated with the pre-expanded polystyrene beads into the final moulding and shaping stage so that the fibres become welded firmly into the shells of the expanded polystyrene beads in the final foam.
