<p>An axial agricultural combine (10) having a single element rotor (28) defining a rotor axis (RA). The rotor (28) is housed in a rotor housing (26) having an infeed section (36), a threshing section (38) and a separating section (40). The infeed section (36) of the rotor housing (26) defines an infeed axis (IA), the threshing section (38) of the rotor housing (26) defines a threshing axis (TA) and the separating section (40) of the rotor housing (26) defines a separating axis (SA). The infeed axis is parallel to and in line with the rotor axis (RA). The threshing axis (TA) is parallel to and offset from the rotor axis (RA). The threshing axis (TA) is offset above and downstream from the rotor axis (RA). The separating axis (TA) is parallel to and offset from the rotor axis (RA). The separating axis (SA) is offset above and downstream from the rotor axis (RA). The separating axis (SA) is more offset from the rotor axis (RA) than the threshing axis (TA) is offset from the rotor axis (RA).</p> |
