PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display improved video images without performing erroneous display on a television screen by adding a circuit for eliminating or reducing the disturbance and noise or the like of display images generated by waveform distortion or the like generated by scrambling/descrambling processings added and processed on the signal transmission of CATV or the like. SOLUTION: A switching circuit 9 is provided in the input part of a reinforcing signal demodulation circuit 7, control signals for indicating only a valid part are prepared in a control circuit 8 by synchronizing signals outputted from a synchronizing separator circuit 2, the switching circuit 9 is opened and closed by the control signals, vertical resolution reinforcing signals are selectively inputted to the reinforcing signal demodulation circuit 7 and thus, the signals from which a prescribed part is eliminated are obtained. Thus, the signals of a scramble remaining part generated through the scrambling/descrambling processings of a synchronization compression system or the like used in the CATV or the like is eliminated or an erroneous demodulation output signal part by the signals of the scramble remaining part is eliminated and the improved video images are displayed without performing the erroneous display on the television screen. |
