PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden of maintenance worker for grasping fault information and to shorten time from fault generation to recovery work start by automatically reporting the client fault information of a distributedly arranged client/host computer system to a host computer in real time. SOLUTION: A hardware fault or a software fault generated at a client 2 is reported through a fault information reception line 7 to a server 1. Corresponding to the fault level of reported fault information, at a server 1, a fault information storage means 12 discriminates whether or not the fault information is to be displayed on a picture display device 6. Besides, a fault information reporting means 15 automatically reports that fault information to a host computer 3 in real time. |
