摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the clock recovery device operated stably even for temporary changeover of a communication network or for timewise replacement caused on a transmission line of the communication network in the transmission system for digital data. SOLUTION: When a synchronization detection circuit 11 detects a synchronization bit from a bit string sent in a transport packet, the bit string is fed to a PCR detection circuit 12, and when the packet includes a PCR of a program to be reproduced, a command of PCR detection is received from a CPU 14 and the PCR data are given to a comparator circuit 23. The comparator circuit 23 compares a reference count obtained by the PCR data with a count of a counter 24 and when an error of the circuit 23 indicates a fault value, since, e.g., a preceding or a before-preceding PCR reference count stored is adopted for a predicted value, the stable clock recovery device capable of high speed response is configured.
