An adsorption filter material consists of a carrier made of a folded thermoplastic gauze to which adsorbent is fixed using an adhesive. There are 0.1 to 5 folds per cm. length of filter material and the volume of adsorbent particles is from 10 to 60 vol.% of the filter material volume.
