<p>An apparatus for dispensing pills from a blister pack (1) in which cavities (2) containing pills (3) are distributed, comprises a lower part (5) for supporting the pack (1) in a ring-shape and an upper part (7) fitting onto the lower part (5) and surrounding the blister pack (1) together with the lower part (5). The lower part (5) and/or upper part (7) includes at least a passage opening (13) with which a pill (3) to be dispensed can be aligned. A push out means (14) can be positioned in line with the various pills in the blister pack and the passage opening (13) and is operable for pushing out the pill (3) to be dispensed through the passage opening (13). The lower and upper parts (5, 7) are substantially ring-shaped and the push out means (14) is positioned on the inner side of the ring and is moveable outwardly for the push out action.</p> |
