The analyser consists of a measuring cell (25) into which the fluid is conveyed via a mixing chamber (20) from two syringes (5a,5b) and from which it passes to a further syringe (30) where it pushes the stopper-piston (35) onto a piezo crystal (40), sending an electrical signal to a pulse generator (50). This pulse causes a disturbance, i.e. temperature rise, in the measuring cell where the chemical and physical parameters are determined by means of a radiation source (55) and detector (60). The electrodes of the measuring cell are of precious metal with a layer thickness between 100nm and 1mm. The cell body (100) is made from transparent quartz (105,110a,110b) with a coating of electrically conductive material (125a,125b) in direct contact with the flow channel (120).
