An ethylene-propylene rubber contains an ethylene- alpha -olefin-diene copolymer with this copolymer being such that it has (i) a propylene content of 43-51 wt.%; (ii) an I2 no. of 33-39; (iii) a Mooney viscosity (ML1+4 100 deg C) of 34-44; and (iv) a mol. wt. distribution (Mw/Mn) of 5 or below. Also claimed are articles made from the rubber, specifically (a) tubing in which at least the inner part is of the rubber; and (b) sealing parts for hydraulic cylinders. Tubing (a) is pref. for brake fluids or water.
