<p>Use of sulphasalazine and its active metabolite, 5-amino-salicylic acid (as monomer or dimer), to treat venous insufficiency and to treat and maintain remission of venous ulcers, is new. Admin. is oral or topical. Daily dosage is 0.1-4g.</p>
