The metal coupling has two parts: a tubular portion (A) with an insert (al) that enters the plastic pipe (C); a sliding collar (B) to push over the pipe (C). The insert (al) has two parts: a diamond-pattern knurled part (a3) to prevent radial or axial movement of the pipe (C); a sealing section (a2) with an annular groove. The end of pipe (C) is opened to the length of insert (al) so that its outer diameter is greater than the inner diameter of the collar (B). The inner surface of the collar has annular grooves sloped to resist pull forces. |
