The invention relates to a label for marking the price of products, which comprises a printable marking carrier (1), which is adhesively attached by means of a laminate material exerting a bonding effect onto a backing film (5), on which at least the side facing the laminate material is coated with silicone. In order to provide a label which adheres well by means of its adhesive layer on products to be labelled and which does not leave behind any remains of adhesive on the products after peeling off, the laminate material comprises an intermediate ply (3) which is coated on both sides with adhesive (2, 4) and exerts a greater bonding force on adhesive than the products provided with the label, and the adhesive (4) which is applied on the side of the intermediate ply (3) facing the backing film (5) has a lower bonding effect than the adhesive (2) which is applied on the side of the intermediate ply (3) facing the marking carrier (1).
