PURPOSE:To carry out the filling work with simple operation without empolying any device for evacuating a vessel by a method wherein anhidride of inorganic heat accumulating agent is produced by heating the inorganic heat accumulating agent consisting of an inorganic salt having water of crystallization to fill a vessel with it and, thereafter, water of equivalent amount is added to return the same to the inorganic salt having water of crystallization. CONSTITUTION:Water of crystallization, retained by inorganic heat accumulating agent 3 for filling a vessel 1 with it through a filling port 10, is separated by heating and dehydrating process to obtain smooth powder having high fluidity, then, the vessel 1 is filled with the powder through the filling port 10 and when a specified filling is finished, an equivalent amount of purified water is added to return the agent to the original salt. The dehydration of the inorganic heat accumulating agent 3 having water of crystallization can be effected uniformly and quickly by heating the agent through the application of microwaves. The volume of the inorganic heat accumulating agent 3 is reduced remarkably by dehydration whereby a space, formed in the vessel 1, can be filled simply with the amount of substantially 100% of the inorganic heat accumulating agent. |
