Error detector and display device for the pen plotter in order to prevent the pen plotter from performing according to the computer control without ink. The implement of the said device consists of two pen tong bodies for fixing and moving and the first and second pen tongs. The pen tong consist of a conduit pipe, a bearing, a wheel, a light detector, and a light source. The circuit of the said device consists of an error detector, a computer, a plotter controller, and a plotter.
