The coupling element includes a connecting conduit which is connected at one end to a free-standing aerial. At the other end the conduit is connected to a conductor circuit, which capacitively or inductively transmits radio frequency signals from the free-standing aerial to a main aerial electrically connected to the radio telephone. The conductor circuit comprises a coil (4) of electrically conductive material positioned in a plane. The coil is arranged on a substrate (5) of electrically non-conductive material and at one end is connected with the conductor (7) of the connecting circuit (8). The other conductor (10) of the connecting conduit is connected with at least one side conductor (9), which is located widthways and adjacent to the coil in a plane, which is at least parallel to the plane of the coil. The side conductor and the coil are arranged on opposite sides of the substrate. |
