Wind-powered mill with vertical axis 3 intended to actuate one or more electric generators or water pumps, which comprises arms 1 with panels 2, 2A or 2B, the angle of incidence of which to the wind is adjusted by the movement of shafts 6, connected to the panels, in a peripheral circular groove 7, 14 and 15 formed by mutually articulated pieces whose height can be adjusted via the vertical movement of the shafts 11 of the swivels 9 which articulate the said pieces. The panels are turned into the wind by the rotation of the ring 12, to which the posts 10 are connected, said posts supporting the pieces of the groove 7, 14 and 15, in relation to the ring 4, which is fixed to the ground, which is facilitated by rollers or bearings between the said rings. The mill may consist of the superposition of more than one set of arms, panels, peripheral circular groove and respective support and control elements. <IMAGE>
