The test system is of the type which has a housing (2) fitted with an opening for the sealing joint (8) to be tested and a shaft (7A) which penetrates into the opening in the housing (8). The seal is arranged between the external surface (9A) of the shaft and the internal wall (11A) of the opening. A motor (7) produces relative rotation between the shaft and housing. A fluid is contained in the housing. Control and measuring means (17) for the sealing device, is situated outside the housing, and collects fluid lost. The control and measuring system (17) includes a liquid drop counter (21), having a receptacle (22) outside the housing (2) under the opening, and a detector (23) which detects the flow of fluid into the receptacle (22). |
