The present invention refers to encapsulation of agriculturally active ingredients (AI). The active ingredients (AI) suitable for encapsulation are selected from carbamates, organophosphates, compounds which destroy an insect digestive tractus tissue, nicotine, rotenone, "neem" oil or azadyractine, natural or synthetic pyretrines, petroleum oils, halogenated hydrocarbons, Bacillus thuringiensis and insecticide viruses. The binder is an emulsifier for agriculturally effective active ingredients, exhibiting a stable solid form at 20 degree C and a melting point within the range of about 40 degree C to about 100 degree C.
