The present invention discloses a gas ionizing device that may also be referred to as corona discharge-type ozone generator. The device design is tubular, comprising internal and external concentric, metallic electrodes, and a ground plane, having a dielectric glass tube arranged therebetween. The gas is passed through between the dielectric and ground plane, in order to increase ozone concentrations. Both the electrodes and the ground plane, are designed so as to allow the ozone producing chamber to be cooled. An electrostatic field improving technique effectively produces a significantly higher ozone quantity as a result.
