This invention relates to the axial position protection of a groove-shaft in a Cardan fork enabling protection of the axial position by steel circular groove segments (3) which are placed in the circular groove (2) of the Cardan fork (1). A pressure spring (6) is placed on the Cardan fork (1) in such a manner as to push the plastic handle (11) and in doing so it indirectly pushes the bolt (9) in the direction of the Cardan fork's (1) locking position. A bolt (9) is inserted in the hole (12) on the plastic handle (11) so that its end can be led through the opening of the bolt (13) placed on the Cardan fork (1) to the groove (14) placed on the steel circular groove segment (3). The steel circular groove segments (3) are secured against loosening from the Cardan fork (1) by a security spring element (4) which lies in the groove (5) placed on the steel circular groove segments (3).
