Inspection cover which comprises a base component 2 and a reduction 1 which in turn comprises a section of smaller cross section for its connection to a tube and a section of greater cross section for its connection to the base component 2, which is characterized by the reduction 1 and the base component 2 being tubular elements moulded from plastic material. The inspection cover comprises at least one intermediate component 3 arranged between the base component 2 and the reduction 1. Preferably, the section of greater cross section and the section of smaller cross section of the reduction 1 are eccentric and the bottom of the base component 2 is concave. This allows the inspection cover to be easier to handle and to fit without it being necessary to use a crane (lifting gear). <IMAGE>
