The invention proposes a conveyor belt for use in a conveyor installation with atrough zone, where the conveyor belt is supported with rollers (15, 16, 17) or the like on both sides curved towards the top. Both conveyor belt ends (1, 2) are joined together with a hinge joint (4. 5, 6), which is exclusively located in the not curved section of the trough zone of the conveyor belt. The hinge joint containscoupling eyes (20) which are fastened to the conveyor belt and at least one coupling rod (11) in the linkage axle(18), which passes through the intermeshingcoupling eyes. Such a conveyor belt excels because of the minor wear in the curve area of the conveyor belt during passage through the trough zone. Moreover, it is simply constructed and can be manufactured in an uncomplicated way. |
