RF Signal Multiplex/Demultiplexing system for SDMA Cellular Mobile Radio

The system has a base station which transmits and receives information to several mobile units. The base station has a multiple channel transmit/receive unit (1), coupled to an antenna. Received signals are processed (2) using an estimator to determine the position of each mobile unit, especially where multiple trajectores change the mobile unit position. Spatial filtering (3) is then applied to optimise the returns from each mobile and reduce unwanted returns for each demultiplexed output.
