Moulded articles useful as vehicle dashboards, instrument panels or radio cases

Moulded articles (M1) comprise: (A) a film (12) comprising a first synthetic material, consisting of at least one protective layer (16) and adhesive layer (18); and (B) a basis layer (10) comprising a second synthetic material, which forms an integrated unit with (A) by being laid inside the mould and having a molten contact surface pressed against the adhesive layer of (A). The second synthetic material comprises butadiene rubber particles dispersed in a matrix of opt. modified acrylonitrile / styrene copolymer with a mol. wt. distribution of 2.18 - 3.05. Also claimed are integrated moulded articles (M2). Pref. the adhesive layer lies between the protective layer and (B), and comprises vinyl acetate. A decorative layer (14) lies between the protective and adhesive layers, pref. being applied onto the protective layer. The matrix is an acrylonitrile / styrene copolymer, acrylonitrile / alpha -methyl styrene copolymer, acrylonitrile / styrene / alpha -methyl styrene copolymer, acrylonitrile / styrene / n-phenyl maleinimide copolymer or a mixt. of acrylonitrile / styrene copolymer with one or more of the following - acrylonitrile / alpha -methyl styrene copolymer, acrylonitrile / styrene / alpha -methyl styrene copolymer, acrylonitrile / styrene / n-phenyl maleinimide copolymer or polycarbonate. Pref. the matrix comprises an acrylonitrile / styrene copolymer contg. polycarbonate. The first synthetic material is an acrylic resin. For (M2), (a) comprises an acrylic resin, (b) comprises vinyl chloride, (c) comprises vinyl acetate and (d) contains a matrix comprising the same polymers as in (M1).
