A connector 10 is provided for attaching a portion of bridging tubing 8 to the ends 12 of telephone cable ducts 5 which emerge into a chamber 3, a support 13 being provided where the duct 5 enters the chamber. The connector has a male portion 11 adapted to be engagable within the end of the duct and anchorable therein by an interference fit, the inner wall 18 being chamfered. A female part 19 is disposed within the chamber and applied against the support. The female part has an axial seating 20 for receiving the end of the bridging tubing 8, an anchoring ring 23 for holding the tubing in place, and a seal 21. In other embodiments (Figures 4a to 4c, and 5a to 5c), a collar (30) is provided to slide over the tubing once it is fixed to the female part 19.
