The tent's upper tube section (1) is provided at the lower end with a double penetration hole (9). A screw (6) fits into one of the holes and is held by a nut (10) facing the interior of the tent. The end of the screw which projects into the tube section has a radial widening (11) and the tube section has at least one connecting piece (7) for a horizontal stiffener (8). The upper tube section can have a junction piece (5) at the lower end which likewise features a double penetration hole.
