Earthing modular housing unit for control electronics cabinet

A device for earthing apparatus assembled in modular fashion uses a modular rail system joined at one point (16) to the earthing bar (5). The earth connections for the elements within the apparatus are detachable from the rails. The rail system comprises a first bus (10) used to equalise the voltage and at least one rail (13) at right angles to it, joined electrically by a detachable connection. There is a second bus (11) parallel to the first to which the transverse rail or rails is/are connected. Further transverse rails are joined to the second bus only. The elements in the apparatus are metal cases.
