The unit has at least one valve, which is operated by an electromagnet in order to control supply, return and drain channels which open into a supporting panel. It also has at least one sealing element (20) with sealing (24) and connecting (26) members, and which is arranged on the end wall of the panel. The members run at least along the outer contour of a flexible, filtering fabric (23), and have at least one branch. The members extend on both sides of the fabric, and enclose at least one region of the element through which a pressurised medium flows, and at least one region through which it does not flow.
