The invention concerns a spectacle frame with retaining arms which can be moved out of a rest position in which they lie against the spectacle lens mounting into an unfolded operating position or position of use and are connected to the spectacle lens mounting by spectacle hinges which are formed from two hinge parts interconnected in hinged manner and of which one is connected to the lens mounting whilst the other hinge part acts as a retaining arm support. According to the invention, one of these two hinge parts takes the form of a cup or pot-shaped, possibly even a dished or pocket-like housing or the like, which comprises a largely closed inner space whose basic shape is substantially cylindrical. The other hinge part abuts at at least parts of its periphery on the cylindrical inner wall of the first part with an outer peripheral surface adapted to the cylindrical inner surface.
