METHOD OF TREATMENT OF RESPIRATORY ATTACK AT MYASTHENIA

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method is based on artificial lungs ventilation and use of medicinal therapy. Method eliminates the use of anticholine esterase preparations and patient is subjected for artificial lung ventilation up to recovery of spontaneous breathing followed by urgent discrete plasmaphoresis carrying out. Plasma substitution is 0.8 volume of circulating plasma of patient (not less) at simultaneous erythrocyte membranes washing off. Single blood volume taking off is 12-15% of circulating blood of patient followed by centrifugation at rate 2900-3100 rev/min for 5-8 min. Leukocyte removing enhances immunosuppressing effect of plasmaphoresis. Erythrocyte membranes were washed off twice that promotes the removing pathological substances from membranes (antigens, antibodies and immune complexes causing damage of nerve-muscle transmission), accelerates their removing with plasma and rapid arresting the respiratory attack. EFFECT: improved method of treatment.
