SUBSTANCE: method involves prevention of intoxication, repeated attraction for alcohol and dipsomania by restriction of alcohol intake with dose 30-50 g 96% ethyl alcohol per 24 h, for 3-4 h at interval 3-4 days, not less. Method can be used for patient treatment suffering with chronic alcoholism of 1-st and 2-d stages at ambulatory conditions. Method provides prolonged remissions. EFFECT: improved effectiveness of method.
