<p>A feeder device (10) for use in fishing comprises a bait container (13, 14) capable of travelling between near and far ends of a fishing pole. The container is adapted to automatically release a quantity of bait on reaching a predetermined position along the pole. Means (30) is provided to allow controlled release of bait at a predetermined rate. A bait delivery apparatus comprises such a feeder device (10), a bait release activation device (11) and a catapult (12) for propelling the feeder device along a fishing pole.</p> |
