<p>Disclosed are peelers (10) for fruits and vegetables and the like food products (16). The peelers (10) are tubular in shape and formed from an extruded flexible homogeneous composition. The tubular shape and its flexibility enable the inside diameter food contacting surfaces (20) to roll towards and away from one another while compressively engaging the food (16) between the surfaces (20). Compressive rolling engagement of a food product (16) between food contacting surfaces (20) results in peeling away of the food product outer layers.</p> |
