Scaffolding board comprising thermoplastic body with metal reinforcement

Board for use with scaffolding comprises a one-piece thermoplastic body in which perforated metal sheet reinforcement is embedded. The body has a tread-plate on the upper side and at least two longitudinal struts on the underside, extending over the length of the board. The reinforcement comprises longitudinal beams incorporated in the struts and cross beams connecting the longitudinal beams at the ends of the board. The plastic pref. is of polyethylene and/or polypropylene, partic. a copolymer and includes up to 30% recycled material.
