Faceted groove in spectacle glass edge or frame measuring method, made by edge grinder

The method employs a frontal grinding disc (11) and two facet grinding discs (12) arranged on a shaft (10) parallel to two collinear half-shafts (14,14a) which clamp the spectacle glass (35) with a rubber head (36) preventing rotation and slip. A feeler head is inserted into the groove of the frame which is rotated about the glass support shaft. Values of the radius of the facet groove, glass or shaping disc are paired with values of angle of rotation of the shaft and transmitted to the control system of the CNC glass edge grinder.
